Synthesis of the molecular sieve AlPO4-5 with an unequal molar ratio of Al2O3 to P2O5

Abstract

The aluminophosphate molecular sieve AlPO4-5 in which the molar ratio of Al2O3 to P2O5 is in the range from 1.43 : 1 to 2.21 : 1 has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and 31P and 27Al solid-state magic angle spinning NMR spectroscopy.
