Half-sandwich niobium(III) nitrene (Imido) complexes containing carbonyl, alkene and acetylene ligands

Abstract

The chiral-at-metal niobium nitrene compounds [Nb(η-C5H5)(N-2,6-Pri2C6H3)(PMe3)(L)](L = CO, C2H4, C3H6and RC[triple bond, length half m-dash]CR) have been prepared via the dichloride [Nb(η-C5H5)(N-2,6-Pri2C6H3)Cl2] and the molecular structure of the propene derivative has been determined.
