Dimerization of metastable metallo-methylenephosphanes to dimetalla-diphosphabicyclobutane and metallo-diphosphacyclohexenone derivatives

Abstract

Reactions of Cl–P[double bond, length half m-dash]C(SiMe3)2 with K[FeCp(CO)2] and K[FeC3H5(CO)3] afford the first examples of metastable metallo-methylenephosphanes, which dimerize at low temperatures.
