A short step synthesis of optically active myo-inositol 1,3,4,5-tetraki(phosphate) and myo-inositol 1,4,5-tris(phosphate) from 1,3,5-tri-O-benzoyl-myo-inositol

Abstract

A short and practial synthesis of myo-inositol 1,3,4,5-tetraki(phosphate) and myo-inositol 1,4,5-tris(phosphate) has been achieved by direct benzoylation of myo-inositol, enantioselective tartaroylation and removal of acyl protecting groups with Grignard reagents.
