Bridging flocculation of sticky hard spheres

Abstract

Bridging flocculation of colloidal particles + polymer molecules is modelled as a binary mixture of spheres with a sticky hard-sphere particle–polymer pair potential. Predictions are made for the dependence of the average cluster size on system composition.
