The synthesis of pillared vanadium oxide

Abstract

A double ion exchange method permits pillaring of the layered vanadium pentoxide xerogel with Al13 oxyhydroxide polymers and a single ion exchange permits pillaring it with Mo6 and Nb6 polynuclear cations.
