An NMR study of the reaction of water with AlPO4-5

Abstract

AlPO4-5 undergoes a readily reversible structural transformation, by reaction with water; both chemisorption and physisorption of water occur on this molecular sieve; up to ca. 40% of the original 4-co-ordinate Al is converted into 6-co-ordinate Al.
