Transmittance ratio spectrometry as a stray radiant energy test method for ratio-recording infrared spectrophotometers

Abstract

This paper describes how the stray radiant energy (SRE) test method based on transmittance ratio spectrometry may be applied to an infrared spectrophotometer. The ensuing result is compared with that determined by applying the SRE test method of Mielenz et al.
