Optimized analytical direct correlation function approximation for dipolar fluids

Abstract

Some simple approximations, which make use of the mean spherical approximation (MSA) as an input, have been investigated for dipolar hard-sphere fluids. These approximations are found to improve significantly on the ‘plain’ MSA.
