Hydrazido-complexes of titanium(IV) with tris(pyrazolyl)borates. Crystal structures of [TiLCl2(NMeNMe2)] and [TiLCl2(NPhNH2)], L = tris(pyrazolyl)borate

Abstract

The reactions of [TiLCl₃][L = tris(pyrazolyl) borate] with Me₂NNMeH and PhNHNH₂ yield complexes [TiLCl₂(NMeNMe₂)] and [TiLCl₂(NPhNH₂)], whose crystal structures have been determined. They are very similar to the homologous C₅H₅ derivatives, with side-on binding of the hydrazido(1–)-moiety.
