Silicate anions formed in tetramethylammonium silicate methanolic solutions as studied by 29Si nuclear magnetic resonance

Abstract

The Si8O208– silicate anion is selectively formed in tetramethylammonium silicate methanolic solution from the SiO44– silicate anion or at the expense of Si6O156– and highly cross-linked polymeric silicate anions which are once formed.
