Withaperuvin H, a withanolide of Physalis peruviana roots

Abstract

Withaperuvin H, a novel hexacyclic withanolide containing an unusual sulphide linkage, has been isolated from the roots of Physalis peruviana and its structure determined as (1) on the basis of chemical and spectral evidence.
