Novel tetrathiafulvalene–MPS3(M = Mn, Cd) layered composite materials

Abstract

Hydrated potassium intercalates M1 –xPS3K2x(H2O)y(M = Mn, Cd) derived from MPS3 lamellar materials react with (TTF)3(BF4)2 in MeCN to yield lamellar composites in which tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) species are intercalated between M1–xPS3 slabs.
