Palladium catalysed cross-coupling reactions with difunctional tin reagents: a general route to aromatic polymers

Abstract

The new difunctional tin reagents Bun3Sn–Ar–SnBun3[Ar =p-(C6H4)2O, p-C6H4(C[triple bond, length as m-dash]C)2] react with organic dihalides in the presence of palladium catalysts to give novel heat-resistant aromatic polymers.
