The preferential migration tendency of the alkoxyamide group in the dienone–phenol rearrangement

Abstract

The dienone–phenol rearrangement of spirocyclohexadienones bearing alkoxyamide groups leads to preferential nitrogen migration, contrary to currently accepted migration tendencies.
