1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of a diazoalkane to the CO bond of a bridging-carbonyl dirhodium complex
Abstract
The reaction between N2CBut2 and Cp2Rh2(CO)(CF3C2CF3)(Cp = cyclopentadienyl) results in the (3 + 2) cycloaddition of the diazo compound to the bridging carbonyl to give a binuclear Cp2Rh2-complex incorporating the unusual ligand [graphic omitted]C(CF3)(CF3).
