Notes. Crystal structure of 2,4-bis(phenylthio)-1,3-dithia-2λ5,4λ5-diphosphetane 2,4-disulphide

Abstract

The molecular structure of the oxygen–sulphur exchange reagent [PhSP(S)S]2 has been determined by X-ray diffraction. It is monoclinic, space group P21/n, with a= 6.410(1), b= 11.701 (3), c= 11.409(2)Å, β= 101.92(2)°, Z= 2, and R= 0.044 for 1 473 unique observed reflections.
