Hydrogen atom transfer to alkenes from aminyl–borane radicals
Abstract
The aminyl–borane radical MeṄH→BH3, an isoelectronic nitrogen–boron bonded counterpart of the isopropyl radical, readily transfers a β-hydrogen atom from boron to simple alkenes to form alkyl radicals.
