A direct correlation between ammoxidation of β-picoline to nicotinonitrile and low temperature oxygen chemisorption on V2O5/α-Al2O3 catalysts

Abstract

The amount of O2 chemisorbed at –78 °C on reduced V2O5 derived from three different precursors over α-Al2O3 has been correlated, with the selectivity for nicotinonitrile formation in β-picoline ammoxidation.
