PVC membrane electrodes of anisodamine, N-butylscopolamine and homatropine

Abstract

PVC membrane electrodes of anisodamine, N-butylscopolamine and homatropine were prepared with an alkaloid-tetraphenylborate ion-associate complex as the electroactive material. The response, selectivity and stability of these electrodes are good. Use of the electrodes in potentiometric methods to determine these drugs is simpler, faster and more precise than the usual chemical methods.
