Chemistry of novel compounds with multifunctional carbon structure. Part 2. The first example of optically active multifunctional carbon compounds
Abstract
Synthesis of optically active tetrafunctional carbon compounds, (+)- and (–)-fluoronitro(phenylthio)acetates (1), has been achieved for the first time by a repeated transesterification method using titanium alkoxides. The fluorine-containing trifunctional carbon compounds, (±)-fluoro(phthalimido)-acetate (6) and (±)-α-fluoro-α-nitro-β-phenylpropionate (9), could also be resolved successfully in the same manner.
