Molybdenum complexes containing hydride and sulphur donor ligands. Synthesis and properties of Mo(H)2(S2C6H3R)(PMePh2)3, R = H, Me

Abstract

Reaction of 1,2,4-(HS)2RC6H3(1 equiv.) with [Mo(N2)2(PMePh2)4] or [MoH4(PMePh2)4] gives [Mo(H)2(S2C6H3R)(PMePh2)3], R = H, Me, the first dihydride complexes of Mo with sulphur co-ligands.
