The role of Lewis acids in promoting the electrocatalytic four-electron reduction of dioxygen

Abstract

The electrocatalytic reduction of dioxygen by cofacial porphyrins CoMFTF4 (M = H2, Al, Co, Cu) indicates that a Lewis acid facilitates the four-electron path.
