Abstract

Reaction of (η2-ethene)bis(triphenylphosphine)platinum(0) with Hg(NSO)2 yields trans-bis(sulphinylnitrilo)bis(triphenylphosphine)platinum-(II); the NSO– ligands are σ-bonded.
