Oxidation of propane to acrylic acid on V2O5–P2O5-based catalysts

Abstract

V2O5–P2O5-based oxides, especially V2O5–P2O5–TeO2, are effective catasysts for the apartial oxidation of propane to acrylic acid using gaseus oxygen as an oxidant; a yield of 9 mol% was reached.
