Control of deuterium-exchange regioselectivity over palladium catalysts: one-step synthesis of ortho- or meta/para-labelled aromatic acids

Abstract

By appropriate choice of catalyst the one-step synthesis of ortho- and meta/para-labelled aromatic carboxylates may be accomplished with good regioselectivity via palladium-catalysed exchange reactions with isotopic water.
