Determination of ammonia in wine and milk with an ammonia gas-sensing probe

Abstract

A method is described for the determination of ammonia in milk and wine samples using an ammonia gas-sensing probe. The procedure uses a standard additions technique without any previous treatment of the sample. The results obtained agree with those obtained using commonly recommended methods for the determination of ammonia in such samples.
