Some bifunctional acylsilanes and their photochemical reactions

Abstract

The preparation of the αβ-unsaturated acylsilane (1) and some β-functionalised acylsilanes (2)–(5) is described. On irradiation, the β-azidoacylsilane (2) was converted into the enol form (19) of a β-methyliminoacylsilane, and the β-isothiocyanatoacylsilane (4) underwent isomerisation into the thioamide (23; R = SiMe3).
