Determination of stability constants using linear-scan and cyclic voltammograms

Abstract

A method for determining stability constants of metal complex ions by means of linear-scan and cyclic voltammograms is described. It has been tested by comparing the obtained stability constants of cadmium oxalate with these derived from polarographic measurements. The results agree well with each other and with those of others. Furthermore, different systems have been studied using this method and the results agree well with previously reported values.
