LiAlH4 and LiBH4 as reagents for the formation of lithium intercalation compounds of the metal oxides, V2O5, WO3, U3O8, and MoO3

Abstract

LiAIH4 and LiBH4, in solution in ethoxyethane, are shown to act as lithiating agents for the food production of lithium intercalation compounds, LixMOn, from polycrystalline samples of the oxides V2O5, WO3, MoO3, and U3O8.
