Abstract

Stereoselective addition of hydrogen halides to the unsaturated nido-[6,9-C2B8H10]2– System to give a series of arachno-5-X-6,9-C2B8H13(X = F, Cl, Br, or I) and 5,5′-O-(6,9-C2B8H13)2 Compounds is reported.
