Noncyclic polyethers containing sulphur atoms: a novel type of neutral carrier for ion-selective PVC membrane electrodes

Abstract

PVC membrane electrodes based on noncyclic polyethers containing sulphinyl groups exhibit appreciable selectivity for Ca2+ relative to Mg2+, alkali metal ions, and H+.
