Synthesis of Re(η6-C6H6)(η5-C7H7) and Re(η6-C6H6)(η5-C7H9) and characterization using 2D n.m.r. spectroscopy

Abstract

The compounds Re(η6-C6H6)(η5-C7H7) and Re(η6-C6H6)(η5-C7H9) have been prepared by co-condensation of rhenium atoms with a benzene–cycloheptatriene mixture and characterized by 2D n.m.r. spectroscopic methods.
