Carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of pinane monoterpenoids

Abstract

The carbon-13 n.m.r. spectra of 52 pinane monoterpenoids are reported under indentical standard conditions and assignments made using deuterium labelling studies, carbon–hydrogen coupling information, chemical shift comparisons, and ytterbium-induced shift studies. The assignments of many previously reported spectra are shown to be in error.
