The characterization of two novel bufadienolides, lanceotoxins A and B from Kalanchoe lanceolata[Forssk.] Pers

Abstract

The characterization of two novel bufadienolides, lanceotoxins A and B, isolated from Kalanchoe lanceolata is reported. The assignment of the structures is based on a detailed study of their high-field 1H and 13C n.m.r. spectral data and by correlation with known hellebrigenin derivatives.
