Use of intermolecular 1H–1H nuclear overhauser measurements to isolate intramolecular and intermolecular contributions to 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spin–lattice relaxation times
Abstract
It is shown that intermolecular nuclear Overhauser measurements may be used to separate the intra- and inter-molecular contributions from experimental values of n.m.r. spin–lattice relaxation times. Equations are presented that facilitate this approach for several common molecular spin systems, and appropriate experimental data are analysed.
