Stereochemical non-rigidity of the indenyl ligand in the compound [CrRh(µ-CO)2(CO)2(η-C9H7)(η-C6H3Me3-1,3,5)]

Abstract

Examination of the variable temperature ¹³C-{¹H} data for the compound [CrRh(µ-CO)₂(CO)₂-(η-C₉H₇)(η-C₆H₃Me₃-1,3,5)] reveals dynamic behaviour involving hindered rotation of the η-C₉H₇ ligand; with ΔG‡ at –32 °C, 45.2 ± 1 kJ mol^–1.
