Detection of a transient rhenium(IV)-amine complex from pulse radiolysis studies

Abstract

Reduction of dioxobis(diamine)rhenium(V) complexes with the aquated electron generates transient d3 ReIV complexes whose electronic spectra and rates of decay have been determined.
