The structures of the stereoisomeric ‘dilithium semibullvalenides’

Abstract

The two previously undefined ‘dilithium semibullvalenides’ are identified as the C2h and D2diastereoisomers of bis-(bicyclo[3.3.0.]octa-3,7-diene-2,6-diyl)tetralithium, the first structurally characterized pair of diastereoisomeric organolithium compounds.
