The reduction of (µ2-NO) in [HRu3(CO)102-NO)] to (µ3-NH) and (µ2-NH2) by molecular hydrogen

Abstract

[HRu3(CO)11] reacts with NOBF4 in moist MeCN to generate HRu3(CO)10NO, HRu3(CO)10NH2, and HRu4N(CO)12; the same products, together with H2Ru3(CO)9NH and H4Ru4(CO)12, are observed in the direct hydrogenation of HRu3(CO)10NO.
