Biosynthesis of diplosporin by Diplodia macrospora. Part 2. Investigation of ring formation using stable isotopes

Abstract

The mode of ring formation in the biosynthesis of diplosporin, a metabolite from Diplodia macrospora, has been investigated by incorporation studies with 2H-, 13C-, and 18O-labelled precursors and 2H and 13C n.m.r. spectroscopy.
