SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Treatment with tributylstannane of radical precursors formed by reductive alkylation of benzoic esters with suitable dihalides gives tetrahydroindanes (2a–c), (4b), (4c), (5c), and (5c) and related systems (9) and (10) in good yields.
