Side-on dihapto-bonding of hydrazide(1–) and diazenide(1–) to titanium

Abstract

The complexes[Ti(π-C5H5)Cl2L](L = N[double bond, length half m-dash]NPh or NPhNH2) have been shown by X-ray crystallography to contain side-on dinitrogen moieties, the former being the first example of this kind of co-ordination of a diazenido-ligand.
