Preparation and X-ray crystal structure of a 2,1,3-benzothiadiazine derivative containing a dithiosulphone group

Abstract

The 2,2-disulphide (1b) of 1H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazine-4(3H)-thione, a compound containing a novel dithiosulphone group, has been synthesized in a one-step reaction; the structure has been established by X-ray crystallography.
