Formation and X-ray structural characterization of a twelve-membered P4S2N6 ring in the thermal conversion of a P2SN3 ring into the P4SN6 spirocycle

Abstract

The thermal conversion of (Ph2PN)2NSNMe2 at 150–185 °C into the spirocyclic compound Ph8P4N6S occurs via a twelve-members ring whose structure has been determined by X-ray crystallography.
