SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
A seven-step synthesis of all-cis-4-oxa-octadecahydrodipentaleno[1,2,3-cd:1′,2′,3′-gh]-pentalene-2,6-dione (3) from the readily available hexacyclic ether (4) is reported.
