Standardised tethering of Ru3–Ru6 clusters to high surface area oxides
Abstract
The complexes Ru3(CO)11L, H4Ru4(CO)11L, Ru5C(CO)14L, and Ru6C(CO)16L [L = PPh2CH2CH2Si(OEt)3] have been isolated and used to tether Ru3–6 units to oxide surfaces (SiO2, Al2O3, and TiO2) in a standard manner.
