SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Mild preparative conditions are described for the reaction of primary alkyl-, secondary alkyl-, and aryl-primary amines (including weakly basic amines) with pyryliums (including those with bulky α-substituents). Conditions were optimised by 13C n.m.r. studies.
