Ethynyl-group transfers between platinum(II) atoms or between platinum(II) and mercury(II)via cis- oxidative addition–reductive elimination sequences

Abstract

Site migrations of resident ethynl groups during formation and exchange reactions of [Pt(C[triple bond, length half m-dash]Cme)(C[triple bond, length half m-dash]CPh)(CO)PmePh2] provide evidence for the operation of Oxidative addition–reductive elimination sequences.
