Unsaturated heterobinuclear complexes of rhodium with molybdenum, tungsten, and manganese. X-Ray crystal structure of [MoRh(µ-CO)2(CO)(PPh3)(η-C5H5)]

Abstract

The new, related bimetallic complexes [MRh(µ-CO)2(CO)(PPh3)(η-C5H5)](M = Mo and W) and [MnRh(µ-CO)2(CO)(PPh3)3] have been characterized and some chemical properties examined; the crystal structure of the molybdenum–rhdium complex, determined by X-ray crystallography, reveals a short multiple Mo–Rh bond.
